UPS Express Critical Fuel Surcharge*
UPS Express Critical® uses index-based fuel surcharges. Fuel surcharges will apply on all shipments, including the ground pickup and delivery. UPS ExpressCritical fuel surcharges will be updated monthly, effective on the first Monday of each month, and posted approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. UPS Post Sales Fuel Surcharge
UPS Post Sales uses index-based air and ground fuel surcharges. Air fuel surcharges will apply on all air shipments, including the ground pickup and delivery. Ground fuel surcharges will apply to ground-only shipments. UPS Post Sales fuel surcharges will be updated monthly, effective on the first Monday of each month, and posted approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. North American Air Freight Fuel Surcharge*
North American Air Freight fuel surcharges are assessed on each shipment on a per pound basis. Updated monthly, the rates are indexed to the U.S. Gulf Coast prices for kerosene-type jet fuel as reported by the US Department of Energy.

International Air Freight Peak Season Surcharge

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) may become applicable and may be imposed to select international air freight lanes. The PSS shall become effective immediately upon notice via this webpage or direct customer communication and may be assessed on a per chargeable kilogram basis for UPS® Air Freight Premium Direct, UPS Air Freight Direct®, and UPS Air Freight Consolidated® shipments, including UPS Trade Direct® Air.

International Air Freight Capacity Surcharge

Effective March 16th, 2020, a Capacity Surcharge will be applied to select international air freight lanes, which shall remain applicable until further notice and is subject to change without notice. The charges will be assessed on a per chargeable kilogram basis for UPS® Air Freight Premium Direct, UPS Air Freight Direct®, and UPS Air Freight Consolidated® shipments, including UPS Trade Direct® Air.

UPS Supply Chain Solutions Fuel Surcharge Germany – Special Transport
UPS Supply Chain Solutions Germany uses a flexible index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly. Changes to the surcharge will be effective on the first Monday of each month. The surcharge is based on the bulk consumer diesel prices reported monthly by the Federal Statistical Office.

International Air Freight Regulatory Fee
UPS Express Freight, UPS Air Freight Direct, and UPS Air Freight Consolidated shipments originating in the United States are subject to a Regulatory Fee in the amount of $0.07 per kilogram of billable weight per shipment, with a minimum charge of $10.00 per shipment. The Regulatory Fee is assessed by UPS and is related to costs associated with enhanced security requirements. The Regulatory Fee is a separate charge in addition to any applicable security surcharge and is subject to change without prior notice.

International Air Freight Terminal Handling Security Fee
UPS Express Freight, UPS Air Freight Direct, and UPS Air Freight Consolidated shipments originating in Hong Kong are subject to a Terminal Handling Security Fee in the amount of HKD 0.55 per kilogram of billable weight per shipment. The Terminal Handling Security Fee is assessed by UPS and is related to costs associated with enhanced security requirements. The Terminal Handling Security Fee is a separate charge in addition to any applicable security surcharge and is subject to change without prior notice.

Trade Direct Air/Ocean U.S. Destination Warehouse Services
For non-warehousing accounts, Trade Direct cross dock is defined as logistics activity that attempts to reduce costs and total lead time by breaking down received items on the loading dock of 10 SKUS, sorting, and immediately matching them with outgoing shipment requirements, instead of stocking the items in warehouse locations and returning to pick for orders at a later time.

UPS Small Package Delivery Transportation Rate Charts
UPS Service will be provided pursuant to the Domestic U.S. UPS Rate and Service Guide, and Tariff, in effect at the time of shipment. Additional charges and accessorial fees may apply per the Domestic U.S. UPS Rate and Service Guide, and Tariff, in effect at the time of shipment. U.S. domestic deliveries will be assessed using the attached UPS Transportation Rate charts.
